I am going to assume that you are reading this because you are fed up with timeshare ownership. You were probably pushed to buy a timeshare when you were on vacation with your family or friends and they promised you a free breakfast and the chance to win tickets to a hot, local attraction. But now the economy sucks and you're stuck with something that you can't afford to visit or keep. Correct?

Sure, back in the 90's it was awesome to own a timeshare because flying was pretty cheap and painless. The economy was going strong and it was very feasible to enjoy time off. But times have changed and more and more it has become a problem to keep a timeshare because of the ever rising costs of ownership plus the prohibitive travel costs, but now what can you do?

Look, getting rid of your timeshare is not as hard as some people think. Quite the opposite. For starters, you are going to need to get the proper price for your property. That information is readily available online for free. All you do is fill out a quick form with name and resort information. Once you have that info, you can then decide whether you want to handle the sell your self and advertise on the mass media outlets like ebay, craigslist and facebook or perhaps you want to delegate and hire an agent to do it for you. Regardless of what you decide to do, the number 1 reason why timeshares don't get sold is because of unrealistic pricing from their owners. Does this make sense?
